This parcel of garnet was sourced on one of our gender empowerment projects in Sakaraha, Madagascar. The parcel is mid dark material that will cut darker stones, but still with cut stones with open colour. The pieces are around 60% clean, though the more purplish stones are usually silky. They will make great practice stones for cutters.
